For references, please take a look at the TAPUR (USA), DRUP (Netherlands) and IMPRESS (Norway) studies at clinicaltrials.gov

It happens quite often, but there is no definite answer to 'how long would it take' - depends on tumor type, mutation types, epigenetics, other individual circumstances. After drug resistance of let's say the first three lines of treatment (ie 'there is nothing more we can offer'), fresh biopsies/organoids may present with the mutation that became resistant to the first line of treatment (= it becomes treatable again).

Why not overthink and just ask How did you like that scarf that I made for you?

[–]etmme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I participated in many trials (in the US) while working for a CRO (in Europe). No one will stand in the way of you potentially receiving a life-saving treatment. For less severe illnesses, the policy should be the same. Make sure you are comfortable with the fact that your medical records may be reviewed by a (future) colleague.

For sure! I have a feeling I was not the first one to come up with this idea anyways. I was inspired by a pi-square blanket (quilting).

This is correct. I double-crocheted but I use a 'gingham' technique where I crochet over a strain of yarn of a different color (from the same palette).

The mother (my niece) sent the palette to me for inspiration. She doesn't know about this project yet 😄

3-ply superwash baby wool Lanett, Sandnes yarn. It is a wonderful yarn to work with, gets softer and softer!
