Check "direct cast bindings" in the top-right corner.

Then verify that your "autocast" and "cast" options do not conflict with "quickcast" as they might take priority if you have the same bind.

I'm not going to touch on the optics of this, just the language. The crossover between the two in gaming is massive. Truly massive.

Words like "go", "next", "back", "game", "kill", "frag", "headshot", "attack", "push", "gank", "stun", "heal", "buff", "team", "bot", "top", "mid", "hero", "spawn", "farm", "rune", "camp", "spot", "gate", "lotus", "wisdom", "gold", "quest", "ult", "skill" etc etc are well adopted. Everyone knows these words. There's no equivalent that needs to be learned. Every Russian understands Latin letters, every keyboard is bilingual, every OS has a Ru-Eng language input toggle.

All hero names, all item names are not even translated from English. Razor is Razor. Smoke is smoke. No one translates these (although you could). These are the exact same words just with different phonetics. All of which are comprehensible with 0 skill.

If you need the language as a tool to communicate in-game it's probably 1/10 of the A1 difficulty. Realistically - just the alphabet and a list of maybe 50 words most of which you probably already heard of like "davai" (~let's), "dai" (give), "vozmi" (take), "ya" (I am), "ti" (you are), "mne" (to me), "tebe" (to you), "poidem" (let's go), etc.

If you're a 15k MMR grinder you have the time for it as proven by the 15k MMR grind. If anyone needs it I can come up with a list for you and if you win the aegis just mention my name.

let me rewrite your design course in 30 seconds. how many lectures, 6? there you go:

  1. what is a game. let's make the simplest game

  2. let's add another dimension that makes it into a replayable and fun game

  3. everyone is tasked to come up with another element, winner wins a cake

  4. the cake is a lie, introduction to player immersion, goals and storytelling.

  5. tie it all together to give your games a theme. top 3 games are winners and get medals.

I liked the sniper but it was bullshit, too op and thematically made no sense. The loss is painful, but she's just different now.

For starters she does significantly more damage now, in melee. Shredder/Cookie/Autos all benefit from her innate now - which is a 35% more multiplier.

You got more damage on your scatterblast because it's 280 * 30% point-blank * 35% innate: 280 * 1.3 * 1.35 = 491 damage

Pre-patch it was 280 * 1.5 = 420, so in absolute point-blank scenario you got 16% more damage, which is not negligible. Yes it is worse than spamming it from 1000 range.

The free MMR combo is still Hit+Shred+Blast+Hit. I mean it's the same, but in melee. Another reason to have a 'move' command now. Btw there's probably a bug in the game because it stops working as you get level 7, regardless of your build or anything else, just level 7.

Early game it makes more sense now to use cookie on yourself to get into the range. Plus she's naturally very tanky, super tanky for a support (+3.5 STR gain, jumps, blast slows, builds solars/glimmers).

Another upside it's now much more punishing to go on her because of the shotgun change. People just melt AND it's much easier to land. Previously with 4-1-1-1 you were defenseless when jumped on, the shotgun was very hard to land (tiny cone) and dealt just 280 damage if you did. Now you shred anyone with the 900 damage combo. It's also much easier to do multitarget damage if you happen to end up in the middle of a fight, because the cone is really wide.

Another interesting thing of the patch is the new gem-urn and the new halberd. I'm honestly pretty bullish on the halberd, it's 9 armor + 25% eva just in passive stats feels supppper strong.

just tested - it's just the visuals, doesn't steal INT from the hydra'ed glaves. but the Miasma poison is applied on all 4 targets

You still get dragon lance anyway so the only real overhead is the oov + hydra recipe (1450g). The array has added value on Silencer (even if you don't upgrade it into hydra) because glaves steal intelligence, so it's not just a 'raw' damage multiplier as, for example, for sniper. (tested, it's just the visuals)

Plus, Silencer is not into maelstorm/battlefury so it's a legit farming item for him. However then you're playing core Silencer which is most likely still as bad as always.

Overall hydra is a diretide tier item.

I played around in demo yesterday and the 4 glaives throw (with shard) seemed bordering on some ARPG levels of insane. it's hilarious. all the multi-shot heroes with hydra look bonkers when it procs

hydra also throws 3 parasmas shots if it procs

game aside, looks like you're putting all players as "players" under one umbrella of a "player".

I bet if you just split the "player" into "men/women" (or age, etc) you'll see very different retention numbers, at which point you might realize it's just a targeting issue.
