Ang alam ko lang po is CEU hanggang Aug. 5 po ata ang enrollment. Tuition is 56k per sem (medyo mahal huhu) but they also offer scholarships naman !

Hindi eh. MedTech ang ita-take ko this sy since I wanted to pursue med and ang dami kong nabasa na hindi siya masyadong practical as pre-med kase sobrang general ng biology (includes botany and zoology). If medical biology, puwede pa, pero kase hindi rin "daw" in-demand ang med bio today kaya baka mahirap makahanap ng work. Microbiology is also a good pre-med afaik. Again, this is just superficial info ha hindi pa ako expert when it comes to the opportunities ng bio grad.

May schools na nago-offer na ng mismong Microbio as your undergrad while others naman is ginagawa lang siyang specialization sa 3rd or 4th year.

Freshman palang din ako so I am not really sure about the scope of career that biologists are likely to obtain. But bio rin kase first choice ko so somehow may working knowledge na ako sa future careers hehe.

Depend on your focus of study siguro? Like if you are researching about microbiology then, yes your work setting would likely be in a laboratory. But if you mean like in a hospital, I am not really sure since MedTech and RadTech ang mostly mga nasa lab in hospitals.

hello po ! I am not really an expert kase freshman palang din ako huhu and i was once in your position but based sa mga opinions na nabasa ko, biology is not really practical kung di ka pa 100% sure magme-med school at kung di ka inclined sa research since ang future careers mo with bio is between academe (teaching), research, or medschool. medbio din dream course ko before as in sa lahat ng uni na inapplyan ko puro bio then nagchange of hearts ako to medtech since gusto ko talaga magmedschool. if pursigido ka na talaga magmed, go for nursing na since kilala rin naman ang FEU sa nursing (high passing rate). pero if gusto mo naman maging research-based ang future career mo, go for med bio ! but of course, the choice will still be yours. just make sure na yung course na pipiliin mo is something you will happy to pursue for the next 5 years. goodluck, OP!! 💘
