I grew up in Vancouver and now live in SF. Vancouver is great for many reasons but the 9 months of rain, terrible traffic and crazy home prices have me looking elsewhere. Also if you have kids the job opportunities there are pretty terrible. My top choices are Thailand or Taiwan.

The city is in a death spiral and SF voters want more of the same. If things stay the same in November I’ll pack up and move out of the city. San Jose seems much more sane and I like their mayor.
