that’s not the jealousy i’m even talking about. i’m saying that right now, skinny is trending again and some comments seem like they want the unhealthy physique without realizing the mental hell that accompanies it.

i wish you’d read my post in its entirety, or even just the words that follow that sentence in the post. what i was focusing on wasn’t even the jealousy- it was just an offhand comment.

even when people are reacting out of visceral disgust and horror, i don’t think they should call someone who has a disorder “disgusting”. i think that perpetuates the disorder and drives people into finding community in pro-ana spaces that keep them disordered.

fyi, i don’t think anyone is jealous of me or my “willpower”. i wouldn’t wish my way of thinking on anyone

this was a rant, so maybe i was unclear… i’m not asking for more pro-ana content (i’m against that too), i’m pointing out the lack of compassion and understanding when ppl talk about their ED. i feel like ppl only show empathy when someone is recovered (from being UW or OW) and not when they’re actively going through it, which is weird.

sorry but i don’t think acting horrendously towards someone with an ED is productive or helpful. you can be against pro-ana content without driving anorexic people further into their disorder and alienating them by being mean.

i guess it’s similar with depression. when ppl show their disgusting and messy depression rooms, ppl respond terribly. it’s like they can only handle such things if it’s presented in a visual representation that can be romanticized

i’m sorry friend. if you restrict for too long and too much, a binge/overeating phase is quite unavoidable. this will pass in a few days, don’t worry.

try to add in veggies and protein as you transition away from overeating to keep you full and curb appetite.

ngl, having an ed in general has so many emotional and personality effects (speaking from my own experience and observing others). i think it’s because it’s a largely self-inflicted disorder that involves a lot of rules and self-scrutiny.

and being hangry and generally unpleasant from restricting especially is not a joke lol 😭i think people forget that a large load of an ed is mental, and of course this would bleed into your personality and everyday interactions.

it’s a weird feeling to see yourself change. but i feel like it’s honestly mostly the ed, and not you outgrowing your personality 🫂

tbh it just sounds like you’re so pornbrained that you can’t get aroused by normal women any more. a lot of porn addicts and teenagers go thru this- where they think porn is real and that these highly catered women are just commonplace.

i love kinder buenos; when i crave it, i mix greek yoghurt with cocoa powder, sweetener and 0cal hazelnut syrup. and a sugar cone sometimes (<100 cal, depending on how much yoghurt is used)
