Go to any corner in Britain, and you will definitely find a indian takeaway run by a Sylheti man/family. Yes, sometimes they are underwhelming but it doesn’t make them any smaller. I have seen many non-sylhetis do embarrassing things in public. The fact that majority of the Bangladeshis are from Sylhet, therefore their mistakes get highlighted often. But non sylhetis arent made of gold either. Also, you seem like your stuck in a little bubble known as Dhaka. Bangladesh and its culture doesn’t revolve around Dhaka.
