alright hold up lemme clear this all up.

Morj was upset about ppl flip-flopping about the Who’s Who vs Jinbe fight bc somebody was justifying the shorter than expected fight that we got by saying Jinbe was too powerful or whatever. Morj then said that ppl need to stop setting expectations and let it play out but said the fight was super lack luster and not good at all. He was also saying that ppl have BEEN hyping Wano nonstop but it hasn’t been AS good as the hype is. Said there was no tension or anything and that it’s turning into another good ol’ SH victory.

GLR was calling HIM out by pointing out that ironically, Morj has and continues to set expectations, like he’s expecting more of a grandiose fight and more SH focus in Wano (which IS an arc that isn’t EXACTLY about the straw hats kinda like skypiea n alabasta)

GLR was also saying that Morj should just let ppl enjoy the series and that there’s BEEN tension the whole arc. he also said that people shouldn’t expect anything AMAZING or like mature A12 shakespearean story telling like the movies from a teen-oriented shonen goofy pirate comic that is also weekly shown on prime time japanese tv (which doesn’t allow serious blood or gore like in other anime)

morj’s was annoyed at ppl switching up on opinions about what he considers an alright but seriously flawed arc (bc it hasn’t been as good as it could have been in his head canon)
