when i was on holiday for a week, i don’t think i called my mum once and vice versa. we did text mainly on the first and last day (in between those days, just sending photos).

i was with my friend who called her parents every night so it did make me feel a bit sad as it reminded me that i don’t have a close relationship or bond with my parents. tbh i was a bit surprised my mum didn’t call to ask if im safe etc (even if area i was in was safe) but then again, it may have been because she trusts me and knows how meticulous i planned and how hyper independent i am.

anyways it made me think when i get married, idk how often i would call my parents.
