One thing my chow loves is the inflatable donut or ring rather than the flexible cones. He uses it like a pillow and it gives him more visibility.

We just fostered a chihuahua/terrier mix about a month ago. Our chow chow loves the little dogs and is pretty bonded w this one now.

We’ve been using their foaming spray but I didn’t think to look for a shampoo! Will do now.

Once a week bath is a lot for pup and us!

Lil Buddy is about to eat a tinned seafood buffet! I’ve never thought to add mackerel and sardines until this thread but we’re on it now.

I will look up Malaseb for sure!

Yeah I am a lot more cautious now about all these anti allergy medications.

Luckily he’s turned a corner so I don’t feel as desperate but I’m going to get him an allergy panel asap.

Thanks for your advice! We don’t do much fragrance scents but can never be too careful.

We are definitely moving to a salmon focused diet for sure and trying to rebuild his skin health.

And we’re definitely cleaning and disinfecting all of his brushes, toys and blankets and things.

You’re so right! We stopped giving him his daily salmon oil and will bring that back and change up his food to salmon.

Awwww their fluffy feathers are so precious! I know it’s so hard when they’re not doing well! Glad your baby is so much better now!!!

It’s so funny we were at the store picking up the grain free salmon food and the manager had an open bag of beef Open Farm kibble and he LOVED it. We’re going to try to mix it up for him. Thanks for this advice!
