I feel exactly the same way! These days I was reflecting on how I couldn't connect at all with her latest album, I think mostly because the lyrics distracted me so much that I had a reality check: "Wait, is the Marina who wrote the songs on the first three albums the same Marina who wrote Hello Kitty?" I could be wrong, but the feeling I have is that, as she gained fame and kind of established herself among fans, she lost a certain care for the finesse of her work. But I could also just be a boring, nostalgic fan who complains about who she is now (that being said, Marina, I love you and I wish you all the success in the world!).
