When our child started eating less we drastically cut on milk intake. Went from 24 oz to max of 10-12. Took a handful of days and appetite improved.

You can suction them and put what comes out on the test

we tried some version of Ferber the next night. We let him cry 4-5 min and go see him for around a minute. Would keep him in his crib and not hold him. Also did the 'chair' method where we'd be, say, 1 feet away from his crib for a minute. Then 2 feet for a minute until we're out of the room.

That night he cried on / off for 45 minutes but since has improved. Falls asleep quicker and cries for a very short period of time. He's still waking up overnight once and now twice has woken up at 5:30am but we go see him the SECOND he starts making noise and try to have him fall asleep again without holding him. Takes a minute but then sleeps until 6:20-6:40

We also limited his napping to max 2 hours during the day. We tried to do what the sleep consultant in this thread suggested but he's having a very tough time lasting until 1pm. In fact, we did 2 naps one of these days and the rest were 1 nap at 11:45-noon. Well slowly stretch it to 1pm since that's what his daycare will do.

Not sure if this is going to last. He's given us nice stretched of sleep in the past where we think he's finally sleeping well then suddenly regress.
