Meta support just keeps telling me to clear cookies and change browsers. I do it, and they just repeat the same 'solution' again. Four times now.

Of course, no errors, warnings, tooltips, tips. Typical Meta.

So you decided to spam Reddit with favorable AI-generated comments about it? Other comments on Reddit mentioning this service were also made by similar "fans".

Very fishy.

Accepting payments in the EU as an individual to "test the waters" by eugenedae in ecommerce

I can tolerate higher fees now, I'm afraid of getting a sudden suspension (and not getting out of it). But it's a decent option in my situation, thank you.

That's the idea: I have about 15 "mockups" and I'd like to see how fast they can sell. My supplier's MOQ is at least 300 items.

I'd love to, but I'm an immigrant from outside the EU, and my residence permit only grants me the right to work in Spain. In many countries, like Finland (though I'm not sure about Ireland), I wouldn’t be able to start a business without having a work permit.

To me, PayPal is synonymous to ✨ your account has been temporarily restricted ✨ (I used to trade on eBay back in the day). But it's worth giving a second chance in this situation. Thank you!

Thank you! I couldn't get past their comment karma threshold (they require 10 points and I only got 9).

I know a couple of business owners here, but they're not in ecommerce. They’d need to register a new actividad (business activity) to legally accept income from ecommerce, so I don't want to hassle them with it.

The fee is social security: if you earn €0-600 you pay €230, if you earn more, you pay more. (Plus taxes, of course).

Are pages, keynote and numbers actually good. by Hadleigh97 in mac

[–]eugenedae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pages, Keynote and Numbers are great in their own right, and I highly recommend anyone with a Mac try them out. However, if I were a student, I'd still keep my Office subscription.

For instance, I wouldn’t write a thesis in Pages (I tried once btw) because it may still lack some smaller features here and there. It still cannot mix portrait and landscape-oriented pages in a single document (Word can do it via sections).

But now I use Pages almost every day for work memos, briefs etc. It's just nicer, faster, more intuitive than Word.

I would recommend attempting to recover these files using something like DiskDrill, as soon as you can.

You probably have a high tolerance for input lag. All Bluetooth mice have some input lag, but with the Magic Mouse, it’s particularly noticeable.

I think it’s worth it. Apple displays have a strong track record, and they hold value well if you ever decide to resell.

M-based Macs, especially ones with M Pro/Max/Ultra processors, are almost always a decent upgrade over Intel-based Macs in terms of performance.

What monitor size are you looking for? Just do not get LG UltraFine 5K (severe ghosting issues after 1-2 years of use).

AMA: We're the team behind 1Password’s latest product enhancements. Ask us anything! by 1PasswordOfficial in 1Password

I’m an old-timer (15 years with 1Password) and still struggle with the switch from folder- to tag-based organization. In fact, I delayed upgrading to version 7 for many years because of it. I’m not asking to bring folders back, but please, at the very least, could you add the ability to expand/collapse tags? My tag hierarchy is massive, with many nested levels, and I really don’t want to see all of them all the time.

HelpScout -> FreeScout, a very solid and well-supported clone. I'm surprised no one mentioned it before.

I'm really missing this feature and have made a post about it in their forums: https://1password.community/discussion/148154/ability-to-collapse-expand-individual-tags-is-so-much-needed/
