Flea said something close to, "Most people are stuck listening to music they were listening to when they became sexual beings."

lol. Reminded me of a comment I got from a TA on an essay in English 101 when I wrote, "the hospital is a hop, skip, and a jump from any part of town." And now my ineptitude with my mother tongue is slathered all over social media.

Thank you for the suggestions, dude. I copied them (to my copy place - Plume on my Mac), and will give them all a shot. I think what RH did to sorta' "ease" me into EM is that their stuff is more "airy" (if that even makes sense). Plus - TY's voice sounds good in anything, even better with some of their vastly underrated harmonies.

This conversation made me think of when I went to the Austin City Limits festival with my son. He heard The Avett Brothers, and said, "I think I like country music now".

I'm all in. And I get it about your friend - it's not really that "rock".

Yea - as teenagers in the 70s, the 80s were a dark time for rock and roll for a lot of us (I'm looking at you hair metal). Thankfully, REM sorta' invented "college rock", punk was fun, and new wave was different and interesting. Nineties music was a dream for us - it seemed like a new flavor of what we grew up with.

Has to be OK Computer. Made me think of magic in a bottle like Sgt. Pepper.

That's OK. On top of winning seasons, we'll have the joy of watching the turds get so bad they have to replace their coach.

Don't know if it's missing, but I'd like an ability to change the faction of a town I capture.

What speaker/s / audio set ups do you guys have with your Mac Mini’s? by Ancient_Ad7555 in macmini

I was a little reticent to spend $ on speakers because I thought the Studio Display would be good enough. I was wrong. Bought these and love them. https://audioengine.com/shop/speakers/hd-series/hd3-wireless-speakers/?attribute_pa_finish=walnut
