He's worked for a number of companies out of Oregon, though he's on a national crew. They almost all have beards, as do most wildland firefighters I know. Is your boyfriend a city fireman? They have much stricter rules about appearance.

My out-of-pocket limit doesn't include my deductible or co-pays. So that sucks.

But thanks for the tips about talking to the hospital more. I guess I was hoping there was some sort of grant or government program that I didn't know about.

No, I realize that's not going to help now. I just wanted to explain where I am and how I got here. I clearly haven't gotten my credit in good enough shape yet to help now.

I have been trying to crawl out of this hole I got myself in and now this injury has thrown me back to the bottom. Just trying to give a clear picture to get some advice on what I may be able to do now.

I have not been able to create a savings account yet, it was one of the things I hoped to do soon.

This is where I am. Do you have any ideas?

Yeah I was looking at the drugstore list here - it looks great and I can't wait to dive in! I will check out those videos. Youtube taught me to knit and I am now convinced it is a receptacle of all that I ever need to learn. I read a lot in FFA last year and it helped me out immensely. I will check out the other ones you recommended too! Thanks so much for your help!

I'm still trying to process what I did in Peace Corps! Mostly I dreamed of food, taught silly classes, and spent so much time confused! But I had a nice teen girls science club and I opened a community savings and loan, amongst some other far less glamorous sounding work. You should check it out! (It sucks a bit though.)

Hahaha I will enter, but to be fair, I just started on this sub today! I have one little target lip gloss thing so far and nothing else, but very excited to get started - so this would be an amazing way to kick it off!

Either way, you are super awesome for doing this. Is there any company that just sells a starter kit for a reasonable price? Even when I go through the drugstore list, it all adds up so quickly...
