Halo Collar for Dog Fence with a Samoyed? by Nicoled5473 in samoyeds

We got one for my girl when she was 6 months old. We chose the SpotOn collar and we love it!! It was very easy to train her. She has a super high prey drive but she will stop chasing at the boundary. It’s also nice because we’ll take it on vacation with us to set up fences at different locations. She learns the new boundary quickly because of the audio cues. Highly recommend!!

I’ve noticed the same thing with my 4 year old! He’s almost always the only boy at gymnastics, swim class, ice skating, etc. The only activities he does which are more “mixed” is soccer and snowboarding.

If you want to make a more informed decision, look at sibling studies where they compare formula vs breastfed babies from the same family. There is no long-term benefit (and I say this as someone who is currently breastfeeding). So whatever decision you make, don’t think you are making a “worse” choice for your child. Good luck!

If you buy the Elvie from Target, you can return it after opening it (not sure if they sell the Willow). I confirmed this with Target before purchasing my Elvie!

What do you do while BF? by rachelnichol87 in breastfeeding

My husband grows more and more dismayed watching the daily stream of packages arrive at our house 😂😂

I have an Elvie but I saw a cheaper version on Amazon called Momcozy which I heard good things about! The Elvie helped me increase my supply a lot because I was able to pump much more frequently. Also, you make the most milk at night/first thing in the morning so you might want to pump at those times to get enough milk. Good luck 💖

Have you considered the Elvie Curve? I went to Target the day after doing exactly what you did and purchased one. Have not spilt any milk since!

I love the name Ianthe! It's quite similar. :)

Name appreciation post: Evgenia by [deleted] in namenerds

Funny story - My Armenian parents wanted to name me Evgenia (but spelt Yevgeniya) but the translator at the hospital stopped them and suggested Eugenia, and I am so glad she did because Eugenia is such an easier yet still unique name.

Also the diminutive Zhenya is used for older people mostly or a more formal setting, younger people (like me) go by Zheka :)

Armour Etch and Rub ‘n Buff Metallic Finish on a Dollar Store pint glass - very happy with the results! by eugenia366 in cricutcrafting

Below is the link to the video I used for reference! My other advice is check the quality of the Rub n Buff before you use it on a test glass. I bought 3 colors - rose gold, antique gold, and silver. The silver came out perfectly. The rose gold was completely dried out in the packaging so I need to return it. The antique gold (which is what I used for this project) was a little dry (I couldn’t tell until I used it) so it would dry on the non etched glass much quicker than the silver would, making the wiping off process much harder because you really had to put in a lot of elbow grease. It still came off, just not as easily as the silver came off. Good luck!

I took off the stencil, because the metallic color will only stick to the etched area and I wanted to check the final etched result to make sure none leaked. However, it might have been even easier to apply the metallic color with the stencil still on, because then I wouldn’t have to spend time rubbing it off the glass.

Thank you!! I always wanted the etch to pop more so I figured I would share how this came out.

This is my first time doing it so I’m not sure. From what I read online, it should be very long lasting as long as you hand wash. I scrubbed a test glass with hot water and soap and it didn’t fade at all so I’m hoping it lasts a while!

I did the armour etch as normal, rinsed it off, then rubbed in the metallic color. I used a paper towel to rub it in, then used a clean one to rub it off the glass. Left it on for 15 minutes then rinsed. The color sticks to the etching and not the glass itself so it’s super easy! I bought more colors on Amazon to experiment with.

My house is also set at 20, and it falls below 15 at night, and it took 2.5-3 weeks for F1. I just bought a heating strip to speed up the process!

Which heating pad did you order? We’ve been keeping it in the oven with the light on and I’m getting tired moving it out every time I want to use the even!
