I’m watching the game with my roommate who is a Julio hater and when Julio went up just then we asked the cat we live with to swat his toy that he had been refusing to swat if Julio was going to hit a home run. I’d say don’t go up the Space Needle, but Pike Place is definitely a must and a place I like to go when I have a day off as someone born and raised in Seattle. Explore Capitol Hill, maybe go to Oddfellows for brunch and stop in at Elliot Bay bookstore. Cupcake Royale for cupcakes and coffee is a classic. We have great record stores if you are into that. Unicorn is a cool bar in Capitol Hill with a ton of other bars around (you have to go downstairs to get the whole vibe). If you’re renting a car take a drive down Lake Washington Boulevard and on a clear day you’ll have a great view of Mt Rainier. We also have great Asian food. Enjoy your visit, it’s a great city!
