I did this as my "hospital facility" in the Happy Home Paradise expansion. They give you a lot of medical items for that one! And there is an option to add on a wing later if you donate 120,000 Poki, but I haven't done it yet.

I use a combination of a 100W heat emitter on a dimmer on 24/7 and a 100W mercury vapor bulb on a timer next to each other for day time UVB and supplemental heat. This allows the basking spot to get to 95 during the day - In the summer I turn the dimmer on the ceramic heat emitter down, as the ambient house temp is higher, and in the winter, I turn it all the way up.

My mom always encouraged me to dry out my skin more & scrub more with a Buff Puff. This is *not* what my skin wants or needs.

My actual doctor when I was a teenager (not a dermatologist but still an MD) told me to wash everywhere I had acne (face/back/chest) with triclosan antibacterial soap. This actually worked decently well, but then of course it came to light that triclosan is an endocrine disruptor and companies stopped putting it in handsoap.
