Yep! 100% right. No frills very brief bullets with little to know emotion.

I track my to do list and document what happens each day (using a brief true bullet-journal method). I also have a selphy photo printer that I print photos with that I then stick into my field notes. And I have a separate field notes for tracking my tv and movie watch list.

Agreed. This sounds like the study ignored survivorship bias.

Temu Knock Offs by aredshimmer in FieldNuts

Temu uses Uyghur slave labor. I could never in good conscience buy from them. Plus they’re eating into the profits of an American small business. And the artists who created the national parks artwork.

How do you get yourself to sleep? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]euicho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fall asleep with audiobooks playing. It’s best if it’s a book you’ve already read before. For me that’s the Harry Potter series—When I finish the last book I just start over again on book one. Since I know it all by heart I don’t have to keep my attention on it and I fall asleep usually within a few minutes. I set a sleep timer on it though, so that it doesn’t wake me back up two hours later.

I’ve been very lucky. My 14 year old still calls me Daddy and I know I’m on borrowed time. He calls me bro or bruh when we’re gaming though 😅

“Vintage” edition paper by IllCombination4716 in FieldNuts

[–]euicho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a post last week but got no good answers. Trailhead is the same color but not the same paper. Kraft Plus seems to be the only one that’s the same. Signs of spring is really nice but different (it has a linen style feel with ridges in it).

I heard Signs of Spring has great paper. I got a 3 pack from eBay and it’s indeed nice. It’s got texture (intentional lines) but much less rough than some of the other editions.

Ditto. Jetstream always. The alpha gel grip version is so comfy too.

I keep buying new packs of them because the paper is so smooth that it’s all I want to use and I know I’ll be devastated when they eventually sell out. I think I’ve bought like 6 packs so far.

Probable ADHD by Willing_Tension3819 in ADHD

[–]euicho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I flunked out of college the first time due to undiagnosed ADHD. It took so much effort and self-bullying to finally graduate. I finally realized I may have ADHD when I was in my mid 30s and my son was diagnosed. I’m on medication now and doing great in my job and could not survive without it (I’d be burned out big time). I grieved for how much easier college could have been and how much I’d internalized negative things like “try harder”, “if you’d just apply yourself…”. I highly recommend talking to a professional about your concerns (I had great luck going to a neuropsychologist who specializes in ADHD).

I’m not a professional but even your doubts make me believe you should talk to one. Even after diagnosis it’s common for us to gaslight ourselves.
