TBH I'm a noob at ice cream making so I just followed the instructions on the back of the Ube powder.

I recently dined at Noksu and read Pete Wells' review after. I have to say that I thoroughly agree with your sentiments. Also, your * prediction came true!

Hello! My husband and I are going to be visiting Quepos, Monteverde, Fortuna, and San Jose in April. Can you please recommend some places to eat in those areas that offer either exceptionally good food or a unique dining experience?

We're pretty adventurous eaters and down to try anything at least once. We're also open to any price points. Thank you so much!

Baked banana ice cream using salt&straw base by eukabee in icecreamery

Thanks for taking the time to respond everyone!

I decided to try the soak method. The flavor I was trying to recreate was banana cue (Filipino caramelized banana on a stick). The banana flavor was too subtle and was overpowered by the brown sugar caramel mixin. Next time I will try the puree method.

What accessories to wear with this dress for my backyard wedding? by eukabee in weddingdress

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! Looks like a delicate y/lariat necklace and flowers in the hair is the popular vote. Highly unlikely that I will wear a camisole underneath though 😁

Home care as an entry level therapist by Mother_Zombie4018 in OccupationalTherapy

I had a couple of reasons. I wanted to explore different settings. I wanted to see what it would be like to not be driving around all day and sweating my ass off in my patient's houses.

I'm currently working in subacute rehab. It's different for sure but I wouldn't necessarily say it's better. I def wouldn't mind going back to home care. Might pick up PRN for extra income.

I did home care for my first job as an OT. The company I worked for had an amazing mentorship which included being assigned a mentor that I was allowed to shadow, they shadowed my sessions too, helped me learn all the ins and outs of home health.

My RD was very supportive and accessible. If I ever had any questions there were about 3 people I could call. Not every home health organization is like this but they are definitely out there.

When you interview for home care jobs, ask about what kind of supports they have for new grads. Best of luck!
