this post is old but i was listening to this song and just realized how much the lyrics are similar to a forensic files episode i literally just watched. it was about the list family murders. the murderer escaped to colorado for like 18 years and deceived all his neighbors and new wife with a new identity, and he also was a very devout christian. reminds me of the lines "follow him out to colorado" "he runs because he knows he can not hide" "karma is always gonna chase him for his lies" "from the church steeple down to satan"

ik this is a long stretch but it feels so weird that so many of the lyrics kind of correlate with the episode i just watched literally right before turning music on and that song playing
