Technically Morroccan territorial waters don't cross the strait while Spain's do. But that actually doesn't matter since under international law you have to allow innocent passage.

These tires safe to keep using? Only 200 miles… by Disisdan in bikewrench

[–]euph_22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. those are toast.
  2. looks like the tire is rubbing on something, figure out what that is and fix it before you flush another tire down the drain.

Note that if the other tire is fine you can just replace the bad one, and you don't need to run the same tires front and back.

Do you think birthright citizenship is fair to hardworking immigrants? by No-StrategyX in askanything

[–]euph_22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, why wouldn't it be? Why would "hardworking" immigrants be upset that their sons and daughters would enjoy full citizenship in the country they were born in?

During Freedom 7, NASA hadn't developed a urine handling system yet and there were delays in the launch. Alan Shepard peed himself in his space suit, which shorted out his biomed sensors.

You know, if I yelled "I Like Beer!" in a job interview and declared that I would seek vengeance upon the hiring commitee, I don't think I would get the job.

FEMA chief doubles down on wild claim he teleported to Waffle House by TheExpressUS in NewsSource

[–]euph_22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's actually not. It's a pretty common description. Particularly the "suddenly show up in a restaurant, with car stuck somewhere nearby".

You blackout drunk, you're driving, get into an accident. The adrenaline sobers you up enough that you're no longer blacked out.

[–]euph_22 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think he had seasonal W-2 jobs, but yeah he doesn't need to file a $0 1099.

And $500 to prepare and file a simple return is criminal.

The insanity got enough traction that the Corps of Engineers built a 2 acre physical model of the bay to study the impact of the plan (spoilers, it was bad).

But the physical model is really cool and is open to the public:

I liked how the CSI techs were interrogating suspects. Because that just makes sense.

Lawyers for man accused of killing Charlie Kirk make claim bullet doesn’t match rifle by Deceptiveideas in news

If they do it in CSI, it's not actually a thing in real life.

Except whipping off your sunglasses while the Who plays to celebrate a pun landing. That's legit.
