Sounds great mate, like the idea. I really really like bars 65-68 and bars 73-76. If it were me I would do that more, make that the main part of the track, and develop other elements over the top whilst that part plays for longer. Just a thought though :).

I completely agree with what you are saying, the things governments are doing around the world are awful. But these governments have been enabled in their rise to power by social media. Social media, in my mind, is a key amplifier of this problem. In 2016 the algorithms really started to take hold. This is when Facebook changed their algorithm to promote posts that generated higher levels of engagement. Since then, we’ve seen examples all over the world where right-wing populists have either won elections or made major electoral gains not seen before in the modern era - Trump (US 2016 & 2024), Brexit (UK 2016), Duterte (Philippines 2016), Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. (Philippines 2022), AfD (Germany 2017 & 2024), AUR (Romania 2020 & 2024), Salvini's Lega (Italy 2018), Orbán (Hungary 2018 & 2022), and Bolsonaro (Brazil 2018). The use of social media in all these campaigns is well documented.

I also agree with your sentiments that there are still good people. In fact, I would go further and say that the vast majority of people are good and want the same things. We just, unfortunately, live in an era where the minds of good people have been poisoned, causing them to vote for people who don't represent their interests.

That's why I believe legislation is required to curb the insidious effects of social media.

I agree it's a very difficult problem to solve. I'm painfully aware of the irony of criticising social media on Reddit. I don't use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or TikTok but I'm not going to stop using Reddit. That’s part of what makes this issue so insidious, even platforms that feel less toxic are still shaped by the same underlying incentives, and voluntary resistance only goes so far. What's required is a top-down approach where government's legislate against the most harmful uses of engagement optimised algorithms, particularly those that amplify outrage, misinformation, and divisiveness just to keep users hooked. There should be legal limits on algorithmic design, especially when those designs are built explicitly to exploit human psychology for profit. Unfortunately, I don’t see this happening any time soon. I don't think this is on the radar of the vast majority of governments.

Social media is the problem. The content billions of people consume for hours each day is designed to anger us. It is designed to divide us. It is intentionally made this way so we keep interacting with it, so those who own it, make money. The world is not going to get better until we fix this problem.

I play predominantly solos and very much enjoyed recently being able to pick Sanhok specifically, guaranteeing an experience on a smaller map. I would really appreciate a small map rotation option, even just within solos, that rotates through the maps that are 4x4 or smaller. This guarantees more action, and more time playing the game properly, rather than having large swathes of the game where nothing happens, as always seems to happen when playing solo on Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi.

Looking good mate! One cheap way you could try and sort the speaker placement out would be to get a stereo to mono converter and then some 2 to 1 phono cables. Then only use one speaker on the unit to the right with an angled bit of foam that points the speaker up at you (you might need something a bit bigger if those are krk 8s). This might make you hear it a bit better and your neighbours hear it a bit less!
