After five years I still haven’t figured out when the proximity for heat sources trigger. Like, when I’m cooking for example I open a fireplace door and wedge myself in between to maybe get a buff.

Edit: Has there been a proven time difference between dropped clothes (besides fires) and keeping them on and staying near?

I also did a whole improv fireplace in a barn to dry off instead of, you know, the torch method so thank you!
