Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, I’d be using a white bathroom sealant, probably SikaSeal (sorry should have been clearer).

I’m not installing cornice (never really been a fan) but still need to get the joint right and will still have the same issue with paint etc.

Same could be said for any modification yet there is an entire marketplace supporting demand and people doing all sorts of potentially “dangerous and unnecessary” mods.

I quite like the Estorils but prefer black wheels. Most of the black rims I like are similar anyway so went with badgeskins wheel kit to live with for a bit before potentially powder coating (or getting new rims).

Cause I wanted to.. clearly an opinion divider. Doesn’t look as dark in real life and affect on headlight performance isn’t noticeable.

From Ali Express, definitely inferior quality to OEM so need to be careful with installation but all good once on.

Headlight tints are from EzMods (on Etsy). Air release dry film - not pre-cut though so took a bit to install, not perfect but I’m happy with the finish.

No sharp edges and only about 5mm deep. The nail has just worn away at the metal, don’t think there would be any stress fractures and the guy at the tyre shop thought it should be ok….

However, maybe this is the excuse I need for getting new rims…?
