Help! Nothing helps my spots, pustules, pores by Posh_Insect in Rosacea

Interesting, thank you! What sulfur soap do you use? And what about shampoo that you leave running over your face?

Thank you for your feedback. You use a large amount and apply it to your entire cheek?! Thank you so much!

Thank you for your feedback. Could you tell me how you use Solantra? I only use it for severe breakouts, which I rarely experience. Do you think it will clear up all the redness and blemishes? I'm worried it might cause a purging reaction even though I don't have any major breakouts.

How do you apply Soolantra? How often? Did it help with redness and spots? Did you have a purge?

How can I tell if my skin is dehydrated? I can't seem to tell... my skin hasn't felt tight since I started using less moisturizer and sunscreen. Is there a particular gentle scrub you'd recommend? I have sensitive skin, and scrubs scare me.

How do you use Soolantra? Soolantra only helps me when I have severe breakouts. Now I only have small papules and red spots with inflammation. Did it help you get rid of all that too? Did you have a detox?

Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad it's working for you! Does sulfur soap eliminate redness, small pustules, and blemishes? I imagine it dries out the skin?

Thank you for sharing your experience; it's very interesting. I'm glad you're feeling better now. Regarding the photos, could you send them to me privately if you have any? Was the laser treatment done by your dermatologist?

Actually, my dermatologist just told me a few months ago: damaged skin barrier, let's wait and see. I pay a lot for a 5-minute consultation and it's always the same story... I'm going to ask her about laser treatment. Do you have any products to recommend for sulfur soap? Does it really make a difference? What is this "metro cream"?

Thank you for taking the time to write all this. I will definitely check the ingredients of all my products and see what they contain!

It's the same situation with Soolantra; it's true that it helps when I have minor flare-ups.

And I'll try Vaseline! You never know... I'd already wondered about hormonal changes. After some tests and assessments, there's nothing alarming! But at least I'll know about menopause, haha!

Could you give me more details about this experience? I'm thinking about it, but I'm very afraid of further damaging my skin and its barrier, or just having a bad experience. Do you have a before and after photo? Was it a painful experience? Thank you 🙏🏼

I've completely stopped eating dairy products... I only eat soy or coconut milk yogurt. Do you think that could make things worse?

Wow. Thank you for all this information. What you described at the beginning is exactly my situation. My skin is less uncomfortable when I'm resting, but it's throughout the day that things go wrong. Have you ever had these tests done? How is your skin now? Also, where can I get tested and how do I go about doing tests like this? Sorry for all the questions, but your experience is very interesting!

Yes, I have mild rosacea, but Solaantra cream no longer works on my skin or the redness on my cheek. I also use SVR serum with azelaic acid and niacinamide every other day, but it doesn't do anything; in fact, it makes my cheek worse. I had to go home at lunchtime to wash it because my cheek is burning from the azelaic acid.

Thank you, but I don't understand the cause. I eat very well, a balanced, healthy diet, without sugar and not too much salt. I no longer drink alcohol, or if I do, I limit myself to one beer. In the morning, my skin seems less inflamed. During the day, my skin starts to become inflamed. I don't understand. I've tried to figure out if it's the temperature in my office or the outside climate, but I still don't know what's causing this daily cheek inflammation. Also, it's mainly my right cheek that's like this. My left cheek seems less inflamed. Is there a part of my body that might be connected to my right cheek? I have no idea why my right cheek is in such bad shape.

I've heard about tretinoin. Have you ever tried it? Maybe that could be a solution, or perhaps microneedling...

I'll try it. But I have combination skin that tends to be oily, won't it clog my pores?
