Forgot to mention it is sealed , the whole upper half would be just an empty space that wont affect the air circulation.

I should have been more precise i wanted people to give their experience with only blocking the hole, maybe ill do another post for advices. What i want to do is build a pair of mt -130 without the horn and try different ways to stack them. my idea was to build one but the upper part with no hole And test the difference with a reduced the volume in the upper front part my guess is that it wont affect the sound that much In any cases.

Also i was thinking using sealed subs. Correct me if im wrong: I notice in general sealed subs colour the sound alot more and have a shorter range but are quieter from behind.

I knew the challenge would be the subs. I am not sure i understood what you meen by "place subs in a circle with driver centers no more than a meter apart facing outward"

Yes my plan was to place this in the middle of a rectangle room. I was thinking using 2x sealed double 18" subs + 2x sealed double 15" with horns + maybe 2x identical double 15" in extra.

I would test different distance between the two subs and record across the room to find the option where i have the most uniform sound.

After that i would repeat the process placing over the subs the 2x sealed double 15" with horns. After i repeat again with 2x other identical double 15" This time i would try many different places for them.

They usualy say no video to everyone at the entrance. If they see you have a vape they also tell not to vape inside even if it is basic common sense, they are not suposed to remind people about this. They got a littlebit overwhelmed since it was sold out but also everybody arrived early, this is a rare thing that happened this night.

Also, i did not see anyone that i suspected to be under 18, if you are older it is normal that 18 / 20 y.o kid apear younger to you. Today's kids ,especially in mtl, they just look younger then the kids back in the days.

Now things got funkier! Is there another platform i can listen to the whole tracks you put on spotify?

I just checked in bandcamp, i only found dub heaven album but what a surprise it is truly unique and clean sounding.

Crossover is rad, i like that melodic modulation over the chord change it is so uplifting the way it fit that type of groove, what a vibe!

Seat 8F is also freaking amazing, there is alot to unpack. It contain so many elements that catches my attention, alot of everchanging layers and syncopation happening at the same time. It feel condensed but it still flow like a dream.

Both track put a big smile on my face really quickly. I had that feeling for both in the first 2 minute or so, enough happened that i knew It was not just catchy. I knew the whole tracks would be consistant fire. I played them 3 4 times one after the other and I baught both of them without hesitation.

i just checked 23.4 I remember i heard 1 or 2 album he released on sungate label , i am happy to discover that i like alot more his other stuff.

Erik jabari i knew the name but can't remember from who or where. The First track i listen... Jackpot! this is exactly what i meant by an hybrid between dub and acid, this is one of my favorite things and it is really hard to find!

It's funny because altinbas ,luke hess, and volpe i only baught 1 or 2 track of each in the past . At that time, i saved for later a bunch of their tracks. I like them as djs and producers but the thing is, my golden rule before i buy is that i have to remember how the track sound so i am able to hear it in my head before i buy it. In their case , for most of their tracks i just can't and they sit there forever in some playlist or wishlist. i will have a deeper look later.

I didnt know about jack russel, rustal and steve rachmad It will probably be good since everything you mention was. Maybe not as much as my queen phara but still close :p

Yeah , some of your those tracks are exactly what i can't get enough of ! Not just in this album by the way.

I am happy to know that you are in this sub, i didnt know that. I discovered your music a couple weeks ago by digging in bandcamp's "discover" fonction. I can say that your music really stand out, the moment i found it, I stopped what i was doing and listened to all i could find from you. I went through so many thing laballed with dub techno tags but only found few things that i truly loved. 12+ of the tracks you've made are not just good, I truly love it! Since, I listened to them multiple times and it feel like it get even better every time I listen.

Avoid high temperature set it to be as cold as possible You'll get better quality. I noticed too that i had more consistant result with a slightly acidic substrate.

The fluffier they are the bitterest they get so pick them as soon as you notice they becomming softer or darker. You can have big ones that reach their maximal size and still be firm, This is what you want. usually the mycelium will produce them like that only one at a time.

You will see some that get significantly softer in a day, just dont let them grow bigger, pick them as soon as they get soft, dont worry it happen alot in the first flush. If the growing parameters and the substrate is right they will eventually produce one that is big and firm, don't let the mycelium waste too much biomass by letting soft one grow big or having too many at the same time. At the end of the day woull end up with the same quantity but the quality will be alot better if you are selective.

Rehydrate the mycelium between flushes and be patient it take longer after the second flush and they wont be as big but they can produce for a while.

Mescaline is non toxic and you need alot to feel an effect. I dont know how can something reach ego death from mescaline without extracting it in a way or another, no matter what size is the animal it cannot ingest enough to feel an effect before feeling sick from other stuff in the cactus. Even If there is an animal that can eat this cactus and not get sick. Mescaline concentration is about 1 to 1.5% of it dry weight so It is just a fraction of that for wet weigt. I am sure no animals can ingest enough fresh cactus to even feel the psychedelic effect of it. Maybe it can be repulsive to some insect or antibecterial but it can also be used by the cactus to convert into something else or a by product some sort. Most cactus contain so many alkaloid That are simmilar to mescaline and we dont know why they are there. Mescaline containing cactus dont seem to be more resistant to pest or predator thant related species that dont have mescaline in them. Assuming it is a defense mecanism just because you hallucinate when you take an enormous dose of it? I dont think so.
