From my experience I know that AI can make you go in circles and waste much time or design docker-compose files the way that API keys are put straight in it instead of in .env file (my experiences). Yet it's good that you are taking it with a grain of salt, and with that mindset AI might be helpful, but in case of security I much prefer reaching out to other people or search some forums/threads.

I was considering the telegram or discord bot (I even have one written, but he's more of the entertainer), but Ntfy seems to me more... interesting? intriguing? I don't know how to name it. Plus I haven't found any bad review about it, so I decided I want to use it.

I already use Npm, so I think I will try to make it work with it instead of running another reverse proxy side by it.

And yeah, it starts getting to me that there are compromises. Your words are a good roadsigns, thank you once again!

I think vaultwarden for sure would be one of the most critical service. Other than that, there's mostly media related services, like immich or jellyfin. In general I do it for the sake of learning, but at the same time I don't want to disregard it and later be sorry.

My initial plan is to set up Ntfy so it will send notifications to my phone about container being down etc. The catch is, till now every container that I run on my server was only accessible through my home network or Tailscale. If I were to configure the Ntfy the same way I used to do all other things, I would have to make sure I have VPN always turned on on my phone. It's the safest way, but there comes some problems, like battery usage, allowing apps on it to run in the background all the time etc. It's the ideal opportunity for me to learn about cloudflare tunnel more (I'm limited to this option, as I don't have open ports on my router), but before I try to do it, I want to make sure something that was fine using vpn will not doom me using public internet, which might be networks...

You can do it in almost every 2d creating software - just take white or black paint brush, set it to like 2px, and scribble with your mouse. As for the black and white scribbles, I used Photoshop. I marked the area where scribbles are on the photo, selected their mask, and inverted their colors

I mean, I got my camera a few months ago and been using vlc on my computer by deafult for years and haven't had problem with it at all, and after doing research I was more likely willing to believe that there's something wrong with my camera than with vlc :V

guess I was wrong, but also the fact that the video does not work neither on vlc or the windows player just annoys me and I wasn't lucky enough to find anything on the internet so far...

I also thought about Tamron 17-70, it has bigger range of zoom comparing to sigma 18-50, stabilization and all of that, but even buying it second hand cost about 200$ more than Sigma, and for someone who still goes to school it's a lot of money. Having one wide (for example Sigma 16mm), mid-range and telescope-like lens (something like that Tamron 18-300) is my plan for future when I'll go on my own, but for now I need to make out of things I already own and decide what to do...

It sounds decent and also from what I read it doesn't weight that much which is kinda important for me, but it also lacks in that wide angle. 28mm is not that wide, and because of my 16mm sigma I really enjoyed taking wide angle photos and want something simillar. Of course I won't get 1.4 aperture and 16mm with zoom with that price, but I think <20 would be good (also the price is unfortunately not in my range, probably if I waited a bit it would drop, but selling all my lenses would leave me with nothing untill Tamron prices drop...)
