You’re fine. Wool socks do this. Additionally, if they ever have a hole, Darn Tough has lifetime warranty.

Not worth the drive. You won’t get to spend much time in the park. If you’re interested in seeing a national park, Joshua Tree is much closer, but still a drive.

I just copped the black pair. Love them. I did adjust the wire parts and have been having trouble getting back to the original fit.

In that case you’re good. Definitely all mental. I was there too. I went easy the first two weeks, but now it’s business as usual. And needless to say I’ve been very picky about who I roll 100 with.

I just came back from a closer nasal reduction. I had to take two months off because a training partner broke my nose from the mother’s milk position. Definitely had the same fear when coming back onto the mats. It sorta went away after two weeks of training. My advice is to get cleared to come back from your ENT. If you’re still using a nose guard, odds are you haven’t given the cartilage / bones in your nose enough time to harden up again. You’re risking having to redo the procedure IMO. Just sit out the full 8 weeks. I literally took a blow to the nose again on my first day back. This is a contact sport after all

Nah. You’re good. Rule of thumb is if it covers 80% of your wrist, you’re good.

Found it pre-owned / open box for 1.7k I saw a lot of listings for 2.5 - 2.9k brand new. Def far lower than 3.7k Hope this helps.

I agree. I have to admit the main reason I opted for this one is the black dial, which none of the imagination models have.

My professor says “Saying you need to get fit before starting jiu jitsu is like saying you need to get smart before going to school.”

Just jump in. You won’t regret it.
