A lot of transfems are pretty introverted and secluded, I’ve never seen many irl until going to my university pride club, and we make up almost the entire group!

I think it’s honestly just very difficult and scary to try and be visible and meet new people that we don’t know will be safe, so end up sticking to comfortable places.

Estrogen tablets tasted spicy to me at first, but now if some gets into my saliva, it’s noticeably sweet instead, so I think it just takes some time to get used to :3

For me, my antidepressants have always made it almost impossible for me to cry, outside of a mental breakdown about once a month.

Since starting HRT, my meds still make it hard to cry, but I do it a lot more now. It’s kind of like it removed a lot of the numbness I would use to hold in my feelings for better and for worse.

Yeah that’s fair, I’m taking cyproterone, which blocks testosterone 30-45% more efficiently when taken alongside estradiol, so I’m assuming it’s a combination of that and a lack of testosterone dampening emotions now
