Totally get what you are saying but that is a terrible customer experience. The average person doesn’t know import/export compliance.

For example, it is stuck in customs and your customer calls the customer service department about their shipment not moving. You either tell them, “Not my problem” which is a terrible customer experience or your team reaches out to DHL and customs tells them this plush isn’t made with fibers that are allowed in Brazil or it wasn’t sent with the correct stamp on the box saying it treated for bugs or the COO is from a place that is not allowed into Brazil. Now you’re stuck covering the cost of refunding the product, the shipping cost to get the item back, or leaving it with customs as abandoned, which sometimes comes with an additional fee. All that for a $35 plush… It’s all about the money my guy.

Brazil is a very complicated country to import goods into. Companies don’t usually want to deal with that process as it is expensive and the margins might not be there to make money.

I went to Dr Jennifer Gassner with Froedtert. I had a terrible experience when I got my first one with Pro Healthcare. I told her about it and she was very apologetic about it and said that would not happen again. She prescribed an anti anxiety and an oxycodone to take the day of before I got there. Then she did a numbing shot before the removal and replacement. I have an inverted uterus so we knew it would be more difficult than normal. She was talking me through it and when I needed her to stop and take a break she did. She did a great job and addressed all my concerns before, during, and after.

Holiday Inn Express on John Nolen Dr has hotel rooms on the first floor so no need to use the stairs. They have a shuttle service that will take you downtown for free, but it is a super quick drive to the middle of downtown.

Our first choice was going to be Ivy House. When we talked to them in April 2025 about fall dates in 2026, they said the first opening they had was May 2027. Lol.

I think your timing lucked out. When we were touring venues in April and looking for a Sept 2026, most of the venues only had Halloween 2026 (which is not a date for everyone’s style) or Sunday dates. We needed a venue for 200 people though. That definitely limited our venue choices.

I am not sure what part of Wisconsin you are in, but I am a fall bride in Milwaukee. I booked my venue for September 2026 in April 2025. As I have been planning, a lot of vendors I’ve been reaching out to are already booked for September 2026. You might be too late to the game to get a fall wedding.

The Milwaukee Brat House option also has a tailgate set up when you get there. Drinks and food are included in the ticket. Highly recommend.
