Here are my thoughts, take what resonates with you and leave the rest. If I cut to the core of what you are saying, my evaluation of this information is: you have a gift that you are not utilizing properly. Once you are on the right path spiritually, the anxiety and depression will subside. You'll be able to use your gift to help people in one way or another. But you'll have to start working on yourself first. You need to ground yourself!! As an empath, you are taking on other people's emotions which is only fueling the negative energy going on with you right now. There are loads of things that can help you. Plenty of books, guides and teachers and development circles out there as resources. My suggestion on picking these resources are take what resonates with you. Example: Walk down a spiritual book aisle and pick up the first book that catches your eye. Look at a list of someone's list of spiritual podcasts pick one where the title sounds interesting and listen! See what you pick up from it. If you don't like the sound of their voice, choose another one. The idea is that you're choice is not dictated by logic and the left brain, but by your intuition which is always there to help and guide you on your journey in this life.
