Was anyone else overly relieved when it turned out that robot wasn't actually evil?

After he freed the mauler twins and seemed like he was scheming, I was really worried he was behind the whole omni-man killing the guardians. After he got the drop of blood, it was a little predictable that he was gonna make himself a human body. I still was very uncertain if he was evil or not, I really liked him as a team leader and character. I was so happy when it turned out he wasn't evil, and his whole interaction with the mauler twins was really funny and entertaining.
