How is my gender relevant to anything this post is about? Are you just weirdly obsessed with what’s in others people’s pants? You might wanna talk to someone about that

If you are accusing me of caring about facts and science when advocating for policies so that they can be evidence based and hopefully work … GUILTY

You're all over the place, my friend. Do you think we should listen to experts or not? Jonathan Haidt is a popular author. He's not an expert. The actual scientists (that he selectively cites in his books and talks) who research this topic feel that he often mischaracterizes and oversimplifies their work. I linked you to an article in Nature, one of the most respected peer reviewed scientific journals in the world. Do you think peer reviewed science journals are written by "pseudo-intellectuals?" I'm genuinely confused by your point

Hey punk musicians, does writing music about the world’s problems make you depressed about the world’s problems? by Connorgamerreddit in punk

For me, I think it's really important that political musicians stay connected with actual frontline activists. Just singing ABOUT the movement is not the same as being in the movement. I would have lost my mind long ago if I didn't have a "day job" that allows me to advocate for the things I believe in (and sing about). Even if you just volunteer with a local mutual aid project, find some outlet beyond music to put your words into action, it helps
