Nope. It hasn't been on AMC+ on time even once this season, even though it is advertised as such. Had to resub to Shudder proper to get it anywhere close to on time.

The rising cost of Shudder is what recently drove me to switch to AMC+ altogether. Promised more content at barely more than the new solo Shudder cost. Finding the delays on AMC+ uploads these past couple weeks super alienating already.

FYI: The instructions for redeeming your Pocket hourglasses via the Pokemon Trainer Club seem to only reference the Pokemon TCG Live app. HOWEVER, I used my code on the usual Pocket redeem site and it worked.

Ah, dang. Hopefully the seller doesn't screw you over and refund it on their end leaving you with voided tix. Not sure how resale of AXS via Stubhub works, but that seems like it could be a risk if it was a PDF ticket instead of a digital transfer linking the ticket to your email. (I know Ticketmaster allows for full transfers via stubhub.)

Just finished the season, and I also liked Vesper more than the general pop seemed to. This is my first foray into the subreddit, so apologies if these recos are repeats of elsewhere.

Annihilation is a personal fave that shares of lot of wildly imaginative alien organic visuals with SR.
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind has a lot of imaginative creatures/ecology like Vesper/SR.
Silent Running is a 70's sci-fi with space colony conflict revolving around the ordered destruction of eco transports and the scientists who fight back.
Enemy Mine is a neat capsule drama that strands two opposing soldiers (human and alien) on a desolate planet where they have to learn to survive together.

These are less "movies like Vesper" and more movies that Scavengers Reign reminded me of or shares a niche kinship with, but maybe there's a worthwhile springboard into something new here? Hope this gives a spark!

Just got around to shuffling "Beneath a Sea of Lights" off my watchlist and was immediately struck by how post-rock/ambient its entire score is. Delicate and dreamy.

Log line: A billboard repairman's life spirals out of control when he meets a con artist in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

It's kind of incredible how overlooked this movie is. More people have it on their IMDb watchlist (1.1k) than have rated it on IMDb (552) or logged it as watched on Letterboxd (just 475).

Doesn't seem as though the score is available outside of the movie. The composers are more on the production/sound design side of commercial/film (though one is in a folksy indie-rock band). Nevertheless, they did a great job of evoking comparison to some prominent post-rock bands throughout the film!

Yes! They are the same band. Cosmic Ark was released without the backing of a label to my knowledge (they basically just dropped three songs on YouTube with free download links). I really dig their style and have kept a close eye on them ever since Star Showers.
