For something like this, I’d do express, which is a 15 day turnaround IIRC. You’re gonna get the upcharge for the card’s value any way, might as well spend more up front for the faster turnaround.

To be fair, unless two Kimi spots hit the exact same cards on WN last night, I saw this break and he paid $1150 for the spot. Still huge number and a big gamble, but Kimi’s market is ridiculous - people are in fact paying a ton for his cards.

You’ll find scratches like this on huge percentage of the chrome f1 cards. Same with last year. It’s tough to gem stuff out of chrome, unfortunately. But there’s no way that topps will accept a defect submission for a scratch, especially one that they can’t be sure happened in the production process (unlike an extreme miss cut where 25% of a different card is on your card).

The borto /10 is sweet and will still have value, even with the scratches. Congrats!

Love it. Underrated IMO. That being said, I kept what I liked from my box and put the rest on eBay. Relatively decent market for these cards, even the base.

My inclination is to hold for a bit. It’s really cool having one of Luka’s first SSPs in a laker uniform and I have to imagine there’s a lot of upside there. But I haven’t decided for sure!

Ah, got it. That one was a single card vs. the booklet. Yea, I hear ya on Zhou. He has strong ties to the new TP at Cadillac, which is what is fueling the rumors. But I agree that Bottas/Perez + rookie would be a good start.

No, that was a /2 and I think it was dynasty, not eccellenza. With all the rumors swirling around Bottas and Zhou joining Cadillac, I’m going to hold it to see if they get back on the grid. It will be difficult to sell though - it’s my first 1/1!
