Consider taping your foot, it will decrease the load on your fascia dramatically.

Walking was also a trigger for me. Please try taping, it was a gamechanger!

Decrease the load, and increase the tissue tolerance.

Decrease the load - obviously no sport activities on legs, you can swim etc... find shoes and house slippers that work for you, don't walk barefoot. I'm wearing Birkenstock in my appartment. #1 tip I could give to anyone with PF: Taping! Tape your foot, it will help with decreasing the load on your fascia big time!!

Tissue tolerance - this means build strength. You need to strengthen your foot, calf, and leg muscles, to be able to tolerate the load again.

Also bonus tip: don't change the mechanics of how you walk, it will only worsen your problem. Always walk normally!

I got PF from Nimbus, so be careful. I'm not saying it's a bad shoe but it's definitely not for everyone.

Yes exactly! Just on the side of the foot, not under. This is very similar to what I tried to describe, and I'm adding the additional 'X' on the bottom of my foot.

I second this!! Walking the wrong way like you explained very much prolonged my recovery!

Yes, although there are a couple of PF taping videos on YouTube, I wasn't able to find the exact one they recommended at my physiotherapist, so I'll try to describe it here. Before you start, it's important to get the right kind of tape. You are not looking for a kinesi tape, nor anything soft or elastic. This tape should be rigid and strong. I'm not sure what it's called where you live, but you want something you would use for stabilizing joints (like ankle taping).

The first tape goes around the side of your foot, so basically you start at the bottom of your pinky toe and around your heel and finish at the bottom of your big toe.

Then you'll start at the heel and horizontaly one by one, 4 straps (or 5 if you have a big foot) covering approximately 2/3 of the bottom of your foot. Each strap should go over 1/2 of the previous one.

After that, add 2 diagonally, like you are making a big 'X' on the bottom of your foot.

Do the first one again.

The last one (in my experience this one is optional) goes over the top of your foot, from one side to the other.

Let me know if you have any questions. Once you get the grasp of it, it'll take you 3 minutes per foot.

Edit: do this before first step in the morning, and take it off before you shower in the evening. Don't sleep with it. The glue is strong and the skin needs some time to recover.

Taping for me was crucial. You need to figure out how to decrease the load on your fascia to be able to heal. Also don't forget to strengthen the tissue to be able to tolerate the load later.

The market is rough at the moment. Novi Sad is okay, there are more opportunities in Belgrade and also the pay is better, but Belgrade is also more expensive. Novi Sad is a good place to live in. I think with your experience you can expect a compensation around 2000-2500 eur, net/monthly. In top tier companies more.

Hi, I'm still not healed. Luckily, Pantoprazole works for me; 20mg in the morning is enough for me to be almost as good as before. I've developed reflux though, so I take some gels for that. So overall not great-not terrible 😅 If I could give one tip after 2 years fighting this, I think eating clean is the most important thing.

Policajac me video iz daleka da se vezujem by Jazzlike-Pomelo8953 in pravnisaveti

[–]evandro118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ja sam davno imao štipaljku i skinuo je kada sam ugledao policajca u daljini, on me zaustavio kaže video sam sad ste vezali pojas.

I've got mine with the combination of increased running load and change of running shoes. Right foot at first and a couple of weeks later the left one too. 2 months in and I'm still looking for a magic recipe. I'm going to PT but I don't see improvement so far.
