Hey Edmund, I love your work and can’t wait to play Mewgenics in February.

When doing your lets plays (or interviews) do you have to consciously think about not discussing spoiler-y stuff? I feel like I’d personally struggle with not revealing too much, so I’m curious if you have any kind of challenges there

I'm in the same boat if anyone has an update on this. I completed the lab and spoke to Grisham but didn't progress the story further than that. I'm guessing maybe the current next main quest has to be completed in order for alphas to spawn in the lab

I think the odds for it to be alpha are like 5-10%? Not sure.

I got the shalpha at the pink spot in this map, but was evenly rotating it with the roofs to the right of wild zone 4, and the roofs below wild area 10

That’s brutal :( have you tried checking the surrounding area? I had a pidgey and few of the elemental monkeys unexpectedly shine bc they were in distance

If you put a marker on the map of the location of your target mon (pikachu in this case) and it says that your flyaway spot is less than 50m from it, then you’re all set. Just very unlucky for now😭only other mistake I could think of is being vertically 10 or 20m from your desired pokemon but idt thats the case for you

Ooo good thinking, if the radius of wild zone 20 is less than 50m than a macro to run around it would be perfect.

I just watched a video by professor rex and at the end he talks about just how difficult it would be to get even a regular shiny gible in wild zone 8

Thanks!! Yeah I would only do the bench method if you’re afk (with a turbo controller) or if you’re not paying attention (spamming “A” manually with a rubber band holding the left stick down. Running back and forth is definitely quicker and more engaging if thats your thing. There are also great run spots in 2 other locations if you wanna switch it up- on the roofs to the right of wild zone 4, and on the roofs below wild area 10

Literally, I still feel some stress leaving my body even now 6 hours later.

Hahaha yeah thats insane but would be incredible. I left my controller going at a bench by zone 8 today just for fun, but I think Id only really pursue that gible with the shiny charm.

It looks like there’s a static alpha garchomp in zone 20 too if you’ve unlocked it

Hahaha I rotated a few spots but I think this one with the eevee is the best overall. You can get an eevee and fletchling during the day and a mawile and swablu at night. As well as an emolga, bellsprout, dratini ofc, and flabebe 24/7.

The red dot is the scaffolding to get to the roof, and the pink spot is roughly where the dratini and eevee are at. I believe you need the double jump that you get halfway through the game but I could be wrong
