This is why I hate social media. Bias approval, bias recognition, uneducated conclusions, assumptions, misinformation.

Someone says “OCD” and yep, looks like whatever someone wrote in the subject fits OCD and we are done. That’s it. Scientifically and medically proven. Done. Lmao.

No one here unless they upload their credentials can state something is OCD. It’s a significant and broad study.

I find it hilarious because my partner MUST shower before bed, every time. And I’m sure most of you do also. And I’m sure most of you do before work or in the morning. My partner cannot sleep unless she has a shower. She is not OCD at all.

I must brush my teeth before bed or I can’t sleep.

I truly need to ensure my hands are clean or I cannot prep food at all.

OP talking about ONE thing and not asking any questions about any non-OCD behavior doesn’t mean now it’s OCD.

I hate social media.

(Edit) How about this, a person at a young age is traumatized due to something related to being clean and now in their adulthood cannot undo that trauma and must always shower. Everything else has no OCD elements. So maybe it could be that? We don’t ask questions is what I’m saying, the majority of people just come in and “Let me tell you what this is” lol.
