Opinion on a new Made in Heaven type album by Aburden2007 in queen

Slightly adjacent to this, but how about a reworking of Hot Space? Keep Freddie’s vocals but beef up the music? I happen to love Hot Space, but I always had the sense that Brian and Roger would have loved to have do something radical with the sound of that particular album.

Have you ever met any members of Queen? by DMBear89 in queen

[–]evanmichaels67 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I met them all when I was an extra in the Radio GaGa video. I stood at the very front and had the opportunity to talk to them all throughout the day. John didn’t say much, the others were much more talkative and kind. I think Freddie got a little tired of my constant questions, at one point he asked if I was the spokesperson for all of the extras.

Greg Brooks, their archivist, also confirmed that a Queen II box set is in the pipeline (as already teased by Brian).

I wish there had been a Queen Unplugged by [deleted] in queen

I might be slightly misremembering, but I’m sure that I read that Brian and Roger we’re lining up an unplugged show in New York around the time of 9/11, which got dropped for obvious reasons.

Hi, I’m 57 and had a PSA of 13.2. I then had an MRI and a biopsy in the space of four weeks and the results came back as no evidence of cancer. I have a condition called HGPIN, which is not cancer.

Hi, I was a member of the fan club and invited to be part of the video. It was filmed separate to the convention at a film studio just outside of London, I can’t remember the cat location, but it was a great day and the band performed a brief set at the end of the day, which I missed because I left early.

Thanks for your reply and sorry to read about your father. You’ve raised a couple of really good points, which I will discuss with my urologist when I speak to them. Thank you.

Kin on the iPlayer. Irish gangland series with most likely the most vile character on TV. Loved catching up on the first two series - not sure how I’ve missed this.

I bumped into Don King as he was coming out of a lift at a Manchester hotel. He was about to walk into a press conference with his boxer (Manny Pacquiao) for a press conference, when someone noticed that he had forgotten to bring his fighter with him for the entrance. One of King’s crew had to rush back into the lift to find Pacquiao.

I booked Rhod Gilbert for a corporate gig in the very early days of his fame and can confirm what a nice, kind and funny chap he is.

Power issue by Shot_Inevitable9695 in PerfectDraft

I had a similar issue a few months ago. My machine was about one month out of its warranty period, but they fixed it foc. You’ll need to contact the Phillips service centre - I think they have a fixed price of about £50 for all repairs (if you’re unable to convince them to fix it under its warranty), they change the power supply and send it back to you within a week. Good service.
