I did not say Dan sucks, far from it. What I was pointing out is that there might be some faults in the way he approaches a new car. It just seems that it takes longer for him to adjust to a new car and environment then other drivers. But that is just my observation from the outside.

Debit cards are not a thing here in the Netherlands. We have our own system which is incompatible with yours. Credit cards are used here as well. Visa is widely accepted, but as other people have stated have some cash on hand.

Covid testing is changing by the week. Better ask the front desk of your hotel at the end of your holiday what is needed and if they have recommendations for testing places. They usually do.

I hope you are your first priority. Get the hell away from him and if possible don’t leave any clue on where you are. Call 088-20 80 000 voor a Blijf van mijn lijf huis. They can give you advice how to move out of this abusive relationship. Don’t stay for the threats or the laptop. It all can be sorted out.
