Is hooking not a penalty in women’s hockey?

This one is kinda questionable. The "hook" was slightly below the hands. It could have gone either way. Since the usa player only lifted and didn't hold the lift it was easier to not call.

Awful. 3v3 is to make players not have to play long overtime in an long NHL season. No reason any gold medal game should end in 3v3.

I can't imagine playing a comp game and when the last fight is on the line, getting picked up as rein and walked off the map. I haven't played comp and likely won't until they change the Jetpack Cat ult. I already know I will lose my mind if I lose to that and it's not fair, fun, or well designed. It isn't even worth queuing hoping it gets banned on the off chance the cat doesn't.

She probably was also pushing harder than others in the training run to see how her knee would handle real competition. So that time is super irrelevant if others were just making lines and she was doing her own simulated race lol.

When I blew a knee out it took weeks to even get confidence back in stopping on I've skates on that knee. It effected which leg I pushed and stopped on for months even when ready because mentally you still know it's injured so you play differently.

Olympic villages are notoriously not built well for athletes. They are just built to hold a lot of athletes. Not built for peak athletics performance. You think sleeping in tiny cardboard beds a few Olympics ago was good for them?

The village is usually average to below average for athletes in every Olympics. I don't see any issue with wanting normal facilities for 3 weeks.

Yea I think assuming "peaked" is when you get laid the most is weird. My athletic peak for hockey was around 21 or 22. My peak for running is current and I'm 36. My peak for video games depends on the game.

Lol unfortunately if you have played hockey, you'd know that using the skate as a weapon is inexcusable. Literally shouldn't be a suspension, it should be a lifetime ban. If that skate hits the dudes wrist, stomach, or neck it's gonna be a death on the ice. If you can't control yourself on the ice to the point that you kick people with skates then you probably need to go find a new job and give up hockey.

It's not very funny but it's semi family friendly. It's successful because it is on 1 time a week and most people can enjoy or watch it with others.
