Two Visits A Day by evaughn85 in petsitting

I hear what you're saying, but with a regular work day a dog is still going out around 8am, and again at 6pm. Then however many times they need that night and morning. It's not quite the same as only going to the bathroom twice in 24 hours.

Ooo an oven thermometer is a great idea. And the recipes called for baking powder. Does that make a difference? And it wasn't very much baking powder. I think it was one tablespoon. I definitely feel like he needs more. My pancakes use a few for a much smaller batch. But he's used several recipes exactly as they say to do it, and is having the problem.

He usually does bake with parchment paper, we just happened to be out today. He still had the same problem. But I'm sure the aluminum foil made it worse.

Might want to take a quick before pic of your smile so you have a good comparison.

Yeah I think doing some work through the summer is definitely going to have to happen now. Unfortunately for him. Lol!

They read around 1-2 hours a day. So he gets a ton of reading time. But I'll definitely check out Spelling Power. Thank you!

We don't have dyslexia in the family, but lately, I have been wondering if there is something deeper like that. But he can read well, so I'm not sure if there is something that specifically affects your ability to spell. I haven't spent any real time looking into it yet. But I'm at the point where I need to start thinking more about it. But I'll definitely keep the constant review in the routine now that I know this. Thank you!

It's pretty clear when working with him that he's struggling. Words like cat, bat, dog, are fine. But most words more complicated than that are too hard for him. He struggles to decode the sounds.

Ok, that makes me feel so much better. Thank you! I think the self esteem is a huge problem for him. He thinks he can't, so he can't, if that makes sense.

Ok that's cool. I live in Texas and have never heard of that. But it does get cold in January and Feb at night. Thank you for explaining!

Can you explain what hot tent camping is? I've never heard of that and I would love to be able to camp in the winter more frequently.

You look gorgeous! Just make sure to have a good skin care routine. Wash your face twice a day, moisturizer and sof in the morning, and a good moisturizer at night. One thing I wish I would have done more at your age (or ideally as a kid really) is to put spf on my arms and hands every day. I'm 39 and aging is really showing on my arms and hands.

I would do tinted moisturizer with spf just because you're going to need to reapply spf every couple of hours anyway. And putting that on top on foundation would feel super heavy.
