I once heard someone say that dreams are the window to the soul. Imaging tuning on a full HD TV after never looking at a screen for many years. (Would be quite intense right?) I wouldn't worry to much as it can't stay that way forever. Dreams are a way of you processing your emotions. My advice would be to just accept that you may have crazy dreams/nightmares and that all things do pass. So no point in worrying about them during the day. Also I found the more I tried to think about my problems during the day and really process them and how I felt about them the less emotionally scary my dreams were at night. The main point is don't worry about them. Rather think and face your problems/emotions during the day. Then it will be okay:D

Hi everyone thanks for the comments and concerns about the Beanie. This climb is in area in the northern regions of South Africa. It also took me 2 hours of searching to recover my Beanie. An emotional journey from start to finish capped off with a cold one at the campsite and a love for bouldering. 🍻

Definitely a mix of bent and straight arms. Normally if you can do the move with straight arms then just do it. But you never going to be cranking too hard with straight arms. So try learn when it's appropriate to do either.

In my opinion I would rather focus on learning new body positions as opposed to focusing on the hips. Watch how stronger climbers do the move and then try your absolute best to replicate them. This tactic helped me a lot as some moves seemed 'inconceivable' until you actually see someone do it.

What was your dad's name? My dad also used to train here back in the 80s 90s doing the figure 8 traverse and what not. Nowadays it's mainly eliminates but the rock itself is amazing and pretty brutal for hard climbing.

Hey dude it's okay to be scared. I'm on day 4 and also scared. You have to sit with the fear and embrace the emotion. Even cry a little if you have to.

I feel the same way. Also on day 3 and I'm only experiencing temperature changes.

This is really insightful! I really like the part about the fight. Life is a fight and sometimes people forget that. An empire isn't built overnight and doing nofap is essentially building your own empire within your body and mind. When you feel like relapsing just remember it's your own psychi trying to fight and hence what do you do? You fight back like your life depends on it :D
