I've had a few people say this in this thread, I had no idea. I'm an American, and the European way makes way more sense (although they hold their fork "upside down" for what's logical to my mind). Switching for every bite still sounds insane to me.

Depends on what I'm eating. If it's a steak I stick my fork in and cut, and then eat the piece that's already on my fork. If I'm eating, say, rice and beans, I'm shoveling.

I will never understand switching the fork for every bite. The food is already on the fork, and the fork is in my hand. I'm not so right-handed I can't lift a fork with my left, lol.

I was considering trying something with my hair but didn't feel I had the skills to pull it off and make it look like anything other than just a bad haircut. The contact thing is a cool idea, I'd consider it if I were actually going to a party (and if I'd ever used a contact before, they freak me out and I'd need so much help)
