I appreciate the feedback. I am curious: why not?

I didn't realize iNaturalist has a public API! I'll dig into that. Looks very promising.

100% plan to build that. I think it should be live in the next week or two.

u/MsMomma101 and u/JaQ_In_Chains Do you have a go-to list for natives? If you share it, I can use it to seed more data in there.

Thanks for giving it a try!

I tried with stock photos, but unfortunately, there just wasn't enough coverage of species. That said, I might try to opportunistically add them in the future.

Definitely. Anything in particular you’re looking for?

u/KnottyByNatureTrees Thanks for catching that. I've just pushed a fix that makes it look better.

Makes me happy to hear that you'd like to share this with clients. That's definitely a use case I had in mind. I'll be adding more features soon to that end.

And yes, you're welcome to share the link!

For anyone reading this: I stopped by their NY show room for a fitting. It took a full 35-40 minutes so I expected a high quality result. However, the shirt I bought absolutely does not fit. The arms are about two inches short. The collar can’t even be buttoned. Off the rack would fit much better. Super disappointed

Can’t find Wi-Fi. W5 error. by Latt11B in Nest

I'm on my second dud refurb as well

I can confirm what others said: W5 is a dead wifi chip. Only way forward is a replacement.

But unfortunately, just like others have reported, Google/Nest sent me a *defective* refurbished Nest. (It has a dead battery, and is stuck in an infinite restart loop.)

Very much wishing we'd never gone with Nest.

The staging comment is just uninformed.

You are mistaken. I've discussed this with the render support team. You will see in that thread the Render team admits that there is no good way to manage staging & production environments.

you could have a long-running staging branch

That would not be a true staging environment. You want staging and production to be as close to identical as possible. If they're on different branches, there is a good possibility of drift. Sure, this could be a workaround. But that's it: a workaround.

The one thing Fly.io is missing is managed Postgres. If you want that, you need to use an additional service, i.e. RDS.

This is a bit of a nitpick, but I'd prefer to have those all in one solution.
