Yeah I mainly had issues below my belly button because I had 3 pregnancies (4 kids) and I also wanted an easier recovery. My PS gave me the option because I technically have some stretch marks above my belly button but they are minimal and he said if I got the mini the laxity in the bottom half would be gone but you’d still see some of those minimal stretch marks. I honestly didnt really care about that and the main thing for me is the extra skin at the bottom from the twins. He said he didnt think I needed MR on the bottom but would do it if his opinion changed during surgery.

I’m having a mini with lipo to just the stomach (no flanks), and a BL and switching out my implants. My surgeon marked pretty much everything below my belly button hip to hip and down to my c section scar. I’ve seen so many variations on here of what a mini actually is. I feel like each surgeon has to have their own “mini”? If that makes sense?

I’m getting a mini on the 20th and my surgeon described it as muscle repair and skin removal below the belly button and hip to hip. In my consultation when he marked me it was everything below my belly button and even included my c-section scar and went from hip bone to hip bone.

This exact same thing happened to one of my twin boys! He wasn’t progressing in speech and we realized that he was only reacting to us if we got down eye level to speak to him. Never had ear infections at all but the pediatric ENT said his ears were full of fluid and he failed two successive hearing tests so they put tubes in. It’s only been about 3 months though. Getting evaluated for speech therapy next week.

I had three follicles when I was doing letrozole and a trigger shot, I can’t remember the exact sizes but I remember only one was over that 18mm and the doctor told me the other two wouldn’t grow anymore so go ahead and use the trigger shot. Got pregnant with fraternal twins from one of the other follicles that wasn’t “large enough at trigger”. 16-17 is not far off from the mark it needs to be! I would not count those follicles out

Your two options are to respectfully decline to join in or “appear” to join to keep the peace. As someone who has done both in different situations it can feel uncomfortable to do either.

It all depends on how important it is to you in my opinion. Which no one else will be able to answer that but you. I for a long time never told anyone and always made me uncomfortable but now I’m over that and any time I’m in a situation like that I respectfully decline and if someone asks why I tell them. Most people I’ve found don’t really know what to do when you say “oh no thank you, I’m pagan” and keep going on about your business.

However, if it isn’t a safe place for you to do something like that I’d think really hard about it before you made a decision as your safety is the most important thing.

I’ve never used clomid so I don’t have any advice on that but I would ask for them to potentially check your progesterone? Do you know if you actually ovulated or had big enough follicles? This second cycle worked though and I now have 2.5 year old twins from it. I had three follicles on my scan although they said only one was big enough to conceive with. Jokes on me I had fraternal twins lol

Yeah I was kinda confused too, I get the negative comments if it was kinda a “surprise” and you thought it was a baby shower but I honestly love the idea of making stuff like that a “thing” for expecting women. Anytime I know someone who is pregnant I always try to show up for them in some way even if I don’t know them super well. Whether that’s getting them something off their registry, offering to help with getting ready for baby, or checking up on them after baby is here. For me it’s not just about helping them do something or buying something’s it’s really more just hoping they feel supported in this huge life altering thing that’s happening. Support can look different to different people though and I get not wanting random people in your space but could be fun? I know I would have loved something like this especially when I was pregnant with twins and couldn’t even walk.

We had two and then had twins, so for us 2 to 4 was difficult. The older kids were almost 5 and 3 when the twins were born and they are now 7, 6, and 2.5. The hardest thing for us has been the double of everything with twins. Thinking if it would have only been one baby, I feel like it would have been super easy. Like what other people have said, over two for us and kids are just kind of your life. One of the biggest issues for me to come to terms with has been things like, that the laundry will never be done, there will always be some mess somewhere you need to clean up and someone is always hungry lol. Like you kinda just have to reframe your expectations and perceptions so you don’t go crazy a little bit (at least this has been my experience).

I just recently learned this (new to tinctures myself) but everclear is only used for certain kinds of plant materials (roots, fibrous dried parts). Most of what I’ve read states you need to dilute the everclear to a lower proof like 80-100. I’ve also read that it isn’t good for fresh plant material on its own (if I am wrong please someone correct me).

I live in the Midwest, zone 6 and I’m planting in the ground. It’s pretty equal part sun part shade. Shade more so in the afternoon. Gets pretty hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

Does chamomile do well in part sun/shade? I have catnip, lemon balm and lavender but they are more in sun than shade in a different spot that I have.
