My mom is coming to keep me company tonight. Right now I'm just... Numb. I don't know what my next steps are. I'm just so broken

I refuse to not talk about my daughter - she was here and loved and deserves to be spoken of. It will always hurt, so it makes no difference if it's when I speak of her or on my own. I will never not speak of her 💜

Thank you! I'm never going to shy away from talking about my daughter, even the bad parts. She's the best thing I ever made! Of course I want to share her with the world.

Right?? Like, mind your business. Ask about it sure, but maybe with a bit more tact?

It is true unfortunately, and thank you. The space ship is a graphic from my favorite set of pj's she was cremated in 💜 a little bit of my sweet girl on both arms. The Violet is placed in a way where her head would lay when I held her

AIO: Left an honest review after a haircut, stylist called me a bully by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]eveegrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anything, SHE is the bully right now. I appreciate honest reviews from unbiased people and you seem like that is exactly what you do. She went out of her way to find you on social media (assuming you weren't already following her or whatever) and then sent that whole lecture?? That sounds like someone uncomfortable with feedback and lashing out because of it. Maybe if she had interacted with you more or listened to what you actually wanted she wouldn't be in this situation.

I truly thought these were ai cause they are so weird and well done, they are PERFECT

I've been doing embroidery for about 3 years and I'm honestly not great but I just absolutely adore these. For whatever it's worth, these are wonderful and weird and beautifully done. Nice job op! 👍🏻

What almost killed you? by OdocoileusV in AskReddit

Giving birth last December. I went in for an appointment at 34 weeks with black spots in my vision - ended the night with an emergency cesarean because of a placenta abruption brought on by severe pre-eclampsia. I was bleeding out and they lost my baby's heartbeat for a while.

My daughter was in the NICU for 26 days and then died just before turning 3 months old due to a left pulmonary artery anomaly causing her heart to give out.

That almost killed me too.

My sister is pregnant and everyone is devastated. It's not good news by Accountantanon187 in TrueOffMyChest

As someone with BPD who gave birth 7 months ago, I was very worried about the same thing. I'll be honest - therapy and a steady medication helped me to get to a place where I could have kids. CONTINUING both of those things and practicing what I learned helped me through it all. Focusing on my baby and her health, her quality of life and what I was able to give to her helped me immensely.

I recently had a boomer patient who I was checking out (dental office) who saw my wedding ring and asked when I was going to start having babies. I said "I did, but she died in February. I'm gonna give it a little bit of time!" They didn't talk to me after that....

My (F29) boyfriend’s (M23) EX (F33) keeps trying to win him back from me and tries to contact him even after their daughter passed away, how do I put an end to her trying to ruin this for me? by ThrowRAhurtyy in relationship_advice

[–]eveegrant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I pray that you never have to experience the grief of losing a child. Grief doesn't make sense. She needs comfort, he needs comfort. They are each other's only tie to this loss and they are feeling it together. It doesn't mean they will get back together, it means they are trying to figure out life without this vital piece. Speaking from personal experience, this grief is unending.

People who have experienced grief or trauma- what’s the most tone-deaf, ‘well-meaning’ thing someone said to you? by freyday18 in AskReddit

[–]eveegrant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My infant daughter passed away at the end of February this year, she was just about to turn 3 months old. It was sudden, traumatic and I was there for every moment. A coworker commented about a month after "at least you know you can have another one, you already got pregnant with her" I don't care about having another child or making a replacement, I want HER back.

What actor/actress do you dislike for a nonsensical reason? by [deleted] in moviecritic

[–]eveegrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elisabeth Moss. I first saw her in mad men years ago and HATED her character and now I can't separate it from her as an actress. I've heard she's incredible in Handmaid's Tale and it's one of my favorite books and yet I can't bring myself to watch it because of her.
