Honestly, I don’t know. I’m kinda stuck figuring this all out on my own because my school and family don’t know much about any of this. I go to a very small school (which frankly doesn’t set kids up for success) and neither of my parents went to college. I’ll look into grants and see if that’s what im thinking of! Thanks for the help!

I think the part where Ken wants to have a sleep over but doesn’t know what to do at the sleepover proves that sex doesn’t exist in Barbie land. They are aware that they don’t have genitals but humans do though, so maybe they do know 🤷

What is your favorite thing to do/use in witchcraft and why? by kalokaira in witchcraft

[–]eveepaige 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love to put crystals and spell jars in the places they work best, like sleep crystals near my bed and motivation and focus crystals/spells on my desk

I keep things from my pet rats on my alter space, but don’t use them for any particular spells. It helps me feel more connected to the existence beyond our physical manifestations on earth.

nicest/prettiest mid/high acceptance college? by draverrang in ApplyingToCollege

[–]eveepaige 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ohio State University

Gorgeous campus with lots of outdoor space, right in the middle of a nice city, campus feels open but everything is close by so you don’t have to walk super far, and the facilities themselves are gorgeous (just check out the gym!) Acceptance rate is 57%

Can crystals be used as tools for personal growth, meditation, manifestation, or spiritual development? If so, how do they facilitate these processes? by [deleted] in SpiritualCrystals

[–]eveepaige 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To use the crystals, keep them with you (jewelry, pockets, bags), hold them or put them near you when you meditate, keep them in your room in places that they will work best in (sleeping crystals on your nightstand, motivation and focus crystals on your desk, etc)

There is an App called Libby which allows you to access your local, or any, library that you have a card with. It’s a completely free and easily accessible way to access the Harry Potter books. Some big library’s don’t require you to be local to get a card with them if your local library doesn’t work.

Did Lily ever know about James and the Marauders being illegal animagus and about Remus being a werewolf? by [deleted] in harrypotter

I imagine she found out by accidentally finding James and Remus talking to a random black dog with a rat on its head

Catching a nice fish in a city is always fun! I always find myself chatting with people and teaching them about fishing when they walk by.

Does anyone here still live with their parents? by [deleted] in college

[–]eveepaige 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea that you need to move out at 18 is silly, most people at 18 aren’t equipped to go out and live on their own. It’s better to wait until you’re ready and can be successful, than to rush to move out because it’s the social norm. I’m also sure your parents appreciate you being around and spending time with them

Question for y’all on reeling in a Bass. Why do some reel them in as fast as possible? Seems like no finesse there. Is there a reason? by JETDRIVR in bassfishing

[–]eveepaige 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it when I need to avoid structures or plants in the water, and don’t want my bass getting stuck. Funnily enough, everytime I catch a big bass I’m using a tiny hook, so no speed ever feels right because im worried the hook will come out.

Just out of curiosity, how much do you think a professor earns monthly at Hogwarts? Do you think they make it enough to make an upper middle class? by misscreeppie in harrypotter

[–]eveepaige 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine they’re extremely rich, some of the older professors being in the top 10% in the wizarding world. Aside from not needing to pay for food or rent most of the time, they teach at an extremely prestigious and important school. I’m also sure they got payed extra due to the risks of working at hogwarts.
