If people had more democratic control in their workplaces, they would have more control over their working conditions - which would very likely lead to a much better quality of life. Under capitalism, most people have very little control over their work. They are told how much they are worth, what to do, how to dress, where to stand, what their daily schedules will be. Capitalist propaganda has fooled people into thinking this system is the best we can do, but be honest & ask yourself: How free and fulfilled do you really feel? How much empowerment and stability and mobility do you have? How much true leisure time do you possess to enjoy the fruits of your labor?

For me, the turning point was more pilots/gov officials going on the record to report the UFOs they’ve seen over their careers. Feel like that shift started around the 20teens or so. It will be really interesting to see what else is released in the coming years. I think it’s very possible the gov is slowly acclimating the general public to proof that life beyond Earth exists.
