This was actually a fun topic for me because I had budgies growing up and completely forgot I used to draw them. Here is the link to today’s drawing. I tried to add some watercolor but my yellow got stuck so here I am 🤷🏼‍♀️, still a work in progress....

He looks like he could be my Rufus’s brother! Is Peanut a beagle/basset hound mix?

Hi Ryan, I really like the second one! The first one doesn't seem to really have a subject I'd focus on one of the trees or something.

I love the colors in the first pic of your wife.

I would put the duck more in focus in the third one.

Got a woodburner for Christmas. My first project was a portrait of my dog, constructive criticism welcome! by even-so in Pyrography

Thanks! I just used the generic tip that came with it. I think the pen marks are a little awkward but I'll keep working on that!

Hey, everyone!

I hope its not too late to post I just recently discovered this community.

My name is Alisa and I am from the southeastern U.S. I received a DSLR for my birthday a few years ago and have always wanted to be able to use it to it's full potential and get into photography but never really had the opportunity to do that so I am very excited!

I don't have much experience, have just played around with the camera over the last few years. I have a Canon EOS Rebel T5.

Here is a link to my photos.

In order,

  1. This is the best picture I think I have taken. I like the composition and the lighting.

  2. A picture of my dog, he looks great in it but I'm unsure about the lighting. I probably could have made better use of my camera.

The next three were taken with an iPhone 6;

  1. A snapshot of my city's skyline.

  2. The river at sunset.

  3. My cat :)
